Vitalant is seeking a Medical Laboratory Generalist dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Medical Laboratory Generalist is vital. Support Vitalants life-saving mission by contributing to laboratory operations. You will manage reagents supplies and inventory input patient data and provide exceptional customer service. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a fast-track progression to Medical Laboratory Scientist I in just over a year!

What to Expect

Schedule: Dayshift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (including one weekend day Saturday or Sunday)

Hourly Pay Rate: 22.38 - 22.88 DOE

Weekend Shift Differential 8%

As a Medical Laboratory Generalist youll get to

• Manage Special Red Cell inventory and distribution.
• Offer technical support to hospital transfusion services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify malfunctions.
• Conduct preparation and prequalification of reagents.
• Bachelors degree in biology chemistry or other hard science meeting the CLIA requirements for moderate or high complexity testing.
