Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Medical Informatics Analyst you will apply informatics knowledge clinical and operational experience critical thinking and leadership skills to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach supporting regional providers and executives. You will work as part of a larger teamfocusing on specific domain areas such as Ambulatory Medicine Oncology Hospital Medicine Surgery OB/GYN and Reportingto increase clinical system efficiency expand technology utilization foster innovation reduce access barriers provide data-driven insights advance regional strategies and promote quality care.

Every day you will engage with providers to enhance efficiency and productivity by reducing documentation barriers improving charge capture streamlining workflow and reducing waste.

To be successful in this role you will work collaboratively with regional and national Informatics teams to provide domain knowledge for education training at-the-elbow support and standard issue troubleshooting.

  • Enhance the usability of electronic platforms to decrease provider burden reduce variability and eliminate ineffective systems.
  • Participate in designing and supporting effective regulatory-compliant content Clinical Decision support and reporting/metrics to enhance clinical and operational outcomes.
  • Advocate for regional providers needs across the organization by supporting optimization build and change preparedness efforts.
  • Oversee enhance and steward clinical systems downtime tools and provider downtime readiness.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse teams across multiple organizational levels including Operations Revenue Cycle and Information Technology to achieve key system objectives.
Job Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelors and experience with large diverse projects including planning facilitating and implementation
  • Or Associates and 2 years clinical healthcare or informatics related experience in lieu of Bachelors Degree

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Computer Science MIS Health Administration or other related field
  • Masters Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of Informatics experience
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical or healthcare related experience
