Description
- Support the delivery of medical physics services to ensure the safe and effective use of radiation in diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy.
- Assist with quality assurance testing equipment performance evaluations and acceptance testing of medical imaging and treatment systems.
- Participate in radiation safety programs including monitoring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Collect analyze and document technical data to support clinical operations equipment optimization and patient safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians dosimetrists technologists and healthcare staff to troubleshoot equipment and improve clinical processes.
- Maintain accurate records reports and technical documentation while supporting audits inspections and accreditation activities.
- Contribute to special projects research activities and the implementation of new technologies and clinical procedures.
- Continue professional development through training certification preparation and ongoing education in medical physics and radiation protection.
