A veterinary practice is seeking aMedical Director to guide its clinical team while delivering exceptional companion animal care. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about mentoring others promoting medical excellence and helping shape the growth and success of a collaborative practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Perform routine surgical and dental procedures within the scope of practice.

  • Establish and maintain medical protocols to support quality patient care.

  • Mentor and support veterinarians and support staff through coaching collaboration and professional development.

  • Foster a positive workplace culture that encourages teamwork communication and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to enhance clinical operations workflow and overall practice performance.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

  • Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.

  • Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required.

  • Strong clinical leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to inspire mentor and support a collaborative veterinary team.
