Were committed to building a diverse workforce that values contributions of all team members and work to recognize cultural beliefs values traditions language preferences and health practices of the communities that we serve and how they apply to provision of positive health SummaryUnder the direct supervision oftheAccounting Supervisor theMedical BillingAssociateperformsclerical accounting and billingrequiring analysis and individual judgement in the application of accounting Job FunctionsProcesses billingfor Medicaid Medicare commercial insurances and self-payments forLiberty Resources the Finance department in creating timely and accurate financial statements administersbilling and special financial customer service issues with vendors and interfaces with clients regarding billing accounting functionscompilesbilling statements held claim reports and denial in quality assurance verification of Finance department receipts to claims for co-pays insurance payments and andresolves payment finance-related reports as needed/requestedutilizingEvolvCeridian MIP Excel and in processes related to various accounting functions to include: general ledgerfinancialstatements annual auditsite auditsaccounts payable accounts receivable payroll purchasing Medicaid & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for coverage within the Finance Department to include but not limited to payroll accounts payable accounts receivablevouchering daily deposits and sheet accountsand sub ledgersincluding accounts receivable and out agency policies and procedures whileparticipatinginthedaily routine of the effective professionalrelationships with agency staffservice providers and community organizations in the interest of clients andparticipatesin individual supervisory conferences staff meetings training sessions special projects and professional development opportunities emergency situations that may require flexibility of time and area of service excellence and responsibility seeing opportunity where others see barriers to success. Must be proficient in report writingdata entryword-processing database management spreadsheet applicationssuch as Microsoft Excel preferably Microsoft Office. Prior experience with theCeridianand/orMIPpreferred.
