Position Purpose:

Assistsin the examination and treatment of wound clinic patients by tracking patient information documenting in the medical recordassistingwith in-office procedures and testing administering medications and providing patients and caregivers with educational materials instructions and directions.

What the Medical Assistant Will Do:

• Assistingwith room preparation between patient visits

• Administrativeduties like checking patients in and out

• scheduling referrals and follow-ups

• Obtaining document signatures

• Takingphone calls and providing lab results

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Successful completion of accredited/approved: MA program and MA externship MA internship EMT or Paramedic program

• 01 yearpreviousclinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience absence of completed MA

• Program/Externship/Internship must have 2 years clinical experience providing clinical support in community-based clinic and be subject to standardized testing and evaluation of clinical skills
