Medical Assistant (Part-Time)

• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain medical histories
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Assist physicians during in-office surgeries excisions biopsies and cosmetic treatments
• Support patients with medication instructions and guidance
• Act as a scribe for the provider during visits
• Work one-on-one with dermatologists and physician assistants
• Receive comprehensive in-office training
• Learn to use our electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Gain additional support through our custom MA training manual

Qualifications :

Job Type:

• Part-time: Tuesday- Thursday 8am-4:30pm
• Lansdowne and Aldie locations

Experience:

•  Prior medical assisting experience is strongly preferred
•  Completion of a medical assistant training program is helpful but not required
•  Previous clinical experience with direct patient contact is preferred
•  Background in other healthcare roles is also valued
•  Excellent opportunity for Pre-MD or Pre-PA candidates looking for hands-on experience

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Certifications/Licenses:

• Medical Assisting Certification is preferred

Salary

• Starts at $20.00 hourly
