Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated detail-orientedMedical Assistantto join our healthcare team. This role combines clinical support with front-office administrative responsibilities to ensure a seamless patient experience and efficient practice operations. The ideal candidate is personable organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:


  • Assist healthcare providers with scheduling and orders
  • Coordinate care and ancillary services for provider
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system
  • Ensure providers have appropriate materials supplies and are prepared for their visits
  • Possible travel to patient facilities as needed
  • Possible hybrid schedules some days in office some from home

Administrative Duties:

  • Greet and take calls for clinic communicate with patients; verify insurances
  • Schedule appointments procedures and follow-ups
  • Answer phones respond to patient inquiries and route calls appropriately
  • Process medical records referrals and help with prior authorizations
  • Order office and medical supplies
Qualifications:
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training a plus
  • 2 years of experience in a medical setting - MANDATORY
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g. Epic Athena eClinicalWorks)
  • Excellent communication customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and work independently or as part of a team
