Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experiencedMedical Assistantto support both front and back office operations in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will assist providers with patient care rooming vital signs phlebotomy EKGs Point of Care (POC) testing and EMR documentation while ensuring a smooth patient flow and excellent patient experience.

This role requires strong clinical and administrative skills professionalism in patient interactions and attention to detail in documentation and patient care support activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support front and back office clinical operations
  • Greet room and prepare patients for provider visits
  • Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs
  • Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures
  • Administer vaccines as directed by providers
  • Assist with EKGs and Point of Care (POC) testing
  • Maintain and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Handle patient scheduling phone calls and coordination
  • Support providers and clinical staff throughout daily operations
  • Ensure smooth patient flow and positive patient experience
  • Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
  • Follow clinic safety infection control and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 23 years of Medical Assistant experience required
  • Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
  • EKG experience required
  • EMR experience required
  • Front and back office experience required
  • Patient rooming and vital signs experience required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Point of Care (POC) testing preferred
  • Outpatient or urgent care experience preferred
