***Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) is REQUIRED; Cannot be a Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) or Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT).
***This position is open to LOCAL and NON-LOCAL candidates. Temp to hire is not required but could be an option at the end of the contract. To be discussed with hiring manager.

Infectious Disease Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) - Edmonds WA
- Schedule: 5x8hr 0830-1700 (Monday - Friday // OFF WEEKENDS)
- Experience: 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in an adult outpatient clinic setting
- Skills Required: VITAL SIGNS (Height/Weight Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG Obtain Vital Signs Pulse Oximetry Vision testing ) PREPARE FOR EXAM (Positioning/Draping Record History/Medications/Allergies) SET UP & ASSIST WITH PROCEDURES (Dressing Change Pap Smear Set up aseptic / sterile procedure trays) INJECTIONS (Immunizations Intradermal Intramuscular) SPECIMEN COLLECTION (Labeling of specimens Sputum Stool Throat Urine - UA/Clean Catch Vaginal Wound) LABORATORY TESTS (Strep Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis) OFFICE DUTIES (Authorization Forms Chart Preparation Insurance Verification Ordering supplies Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests Scheduling appointments Stocking Supplies Telephone Triage) PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE (Administering Medication Administration of TB Test Aseptic Technique Follow up phone calls Review Lab Tests Rooming Patients Suture Removal Wound care)
