Location: Naperville IL

Duration: 7 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift

Schedule
  • Monday Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM

  • Tuesday: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM

  • Friday: 7:00 AM 12:00 PM

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a busy healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist with patient intake rooming patients scheduling appointments answering phones taking vital signs performing phlebotomy procedures administering vaccines and providing clinical support as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support front and back office clinical operations

  • Greet room and prepare patients for provider visits

  • Obtain and accurately document patient information and vital signs

  • Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and blood draw procedures

  • Administer vaccines as directed

  • Perform EKGs and Point-of-Care (POC) testing

  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care activities

  • Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries

  • Maintain and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

  • Ensure smooth patient flow and excellent customer service

  • Provide additional clinical support as needed

  • Maintain clean organized and safe patient care areas

  • Follow all clinic safety infection control and compliance guidelines

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 23 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred

  • At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in addition to externship

  • Front and back office experience required

  • Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required

  • EKG experience required

  • Point-of-Care (POC) testing experience required

  • Scheduling and patient rooming experience required

  • Experience taking patient vital signs required

  • EMR experience required

  • Current BLS or CPR certification required

  • Strong communication organizational and computer skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred

  • Occupational Health experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with health education and patient outreach preferred
