Medical Assistant

• Room Patients triage obtain/document medical history and chief complaint in EMR 
• Document Allergies and Medications and Obtain Informed consent from patients 
• Scribe and assist provider during exams and procedures 
• Assist skin cancer surgeries medical procedures and cosmetic procedures 
• Prescription management 
• Patient call backs with pathology results/Schedule excisions  
• Prior Authorizations and Biologics 
• Clean and restock exam rooms/assist with inventory 
• Sterilize Instruments 
• Assist with any administrative duties such as answering the phone patient questions and scheduling 

Qualifications :

• 1 year(s) of Medical Assistant experience (Required)  
•  EMR experience (Required) 
•  Dermatology experience (Preferred)  
•  Front desk experience (Preferred) 
• Looking for future PA / Medical student candidates needing clinical hours for a gap year or more.  

Job Type: 

• Full-time Monday- Friday 
• Opportunity to assist Mohs surgeon 

Experience: 

• 1 Year Medical Assistant 
• Dermatology experience preferred 

Education: 

• High School Diploma 

Certifications/Licenses: 

• Medical Assistant Certification
