Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant for an outpatient clinical setting. This role supports physicians and clinical staff by performing both clinical and administrative duties with responsibilities split between direct patient care and clerical work.

• Room patients and obtain vitals and medical history

• Assist physicians during patient visits and procedures

• Perform venipuncture EKGs and basic point-of-care testing

• Manage patient flow and scheduling coordination

• Enter orders and update EMR records

• Handle patient registration and insurance updates

• Maintain exam rooms supplies and equipment

• Follow infection control and safety protocols

• Support documentation and medical record updates

• Answer patient calls and provide basic support

• High School Diploma or GED

• Medical Assistant certification required

• Completion of accredited MA training program

• Current BLS certification (AHA)

• Ability to handle both clinical and administrative tasks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of EMR systems preferred

• English required (Spanish preferred)
