Job Summary
Location: Marina del Rey CA
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinical operations in a busy outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and administrative skills be proficient with Epic EMR and demonstrate excellent venipuncture abilities while providing high-quality patient care.
High School Diploma or GED
Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP Accredited Program
Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
Minimum 2 Years of Medical Assistant Experience
Epic EMR Experience Required
Venipuncture Proficiency Required
Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
Obtain and record vital signs.
Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical supplies.
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
Update patient demographics and medical information.
Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR.
Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
Provide patient education and support.
Float to affiliated Internal Medicine and Family Medicine clinics as needed.
