Location: Flushing NY
Contract Length: 26 Weeks
Pay Rate: $30$34/hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week MondayFriday Day Shift (9:00 AM 5:00 PM)

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant for a 26-week outpatient assignment in Flushing New York. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting physicians and clinical staff proficiency with EPIC EMR and strong patient care and administrative skills.

• High School Diploma or GED

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

• Completion of a Formal Medical Assistant Training Program

• EPIC EMR Experience

• Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA)

• 1 Year of Medical Assistant Experience

• Outpatient or Clinic Experience

• Strong Patient Care and Communication Skills

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures

• Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories

• Assist providers during patient visits

• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC

• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow

• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions

• Ensure examination rooms are stocked and prepared

• Support clinical and administrative operations

• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards

• Patient Intake and Rooming

• Vital Signs Collection

• Electronic Medical Records (EPIC)

• Appointment Preparation

• Clinical Documentation

• Patient Scheduling

• Specimen Collection Support

• Administrative and Front Office Support
