Title: Medical Assistant
Location:Melbourne FL 32940

Pay Rate:$24/hour

Schedule:

• Tuesday: 11:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Wednesday Friday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM 1:30 PM

Contract Type:

• 9 weeks Possible Extension

Job Duties:

• Support front and back office operations in a clinical setting
• Greet room and prepare patients for provider visits
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Handle scheduling phone calls and patient coordination
• Perform blood draws (phlebotomy/venipuncture)
• Administer vaccines as directed
• Assist with EKGs and Point of Care (POC) testing
• Maintain and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Support providers and clinical staff as needed throughout the day
• Ensure smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 23 years Medical Assistant experience
• Phlebotomy EKG and EMR experience required
• Front and back office and patient rooming experience
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Strong communication and attention to detail
