Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourLead Medical Assistant you will helpyour patients and clinical teamexperience seamless and efficient careso they canfocus on optimal health outcomes and a smoothly running clinic.

Every day you willtake the lead on proactively preparing patient charts coordinating patient flow and supporting medical will be expected toescort patients to exam rooms assist in determining medical problems take vital signs and maintain records as well as assist medical providers with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments as directed. Furthermore you will assist in the scheduling and supervising of assigned staff provide ongoing performance feedback act as a key communicator between the clinical staff and Site Coordinator serve as a primary evaluator for interviews and act as a preceptor for newly hired staff assuring all critical tasks are completed per clinic protocols.

To be successful in this role you mustpossess enthusiasm to help others work efficiently and demonstrate empathy for our patients. You must also have strong organizational skills excellent communication abilities and proven experience in supervising or leading a team in a clinical setting.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of a medical assistant training program
  • 1-3 years prior medical assistant experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) card required within 90 days
