This full-time position hasan anticipatedhourly pay range of$23.00 per hour $25.30 per hour
Responsibilities
Roomspatients and accurately collects and records patients medical history; including vital statistics allergiesmedicationsand concerns.
Prepares treatment room stocks andmaintainssupplies and equipment keeping the rooms neat and clean.
Prepares procedural area andassistswith treatments including bone marrow biopsy specific to the providers direction.
Assistswith scheduling routine appointments and check out procedures.
Prepares bone marrow specific to the physicians direction andanticipatesneedsof the provider and other providers.
Addresses patients with a compassionatefriendlyand caring attitude.
Consistentlymaintainsand updates medication knowledge staying current with industry trends and standards attends in-services internal or external.
Prepares and administers medications as directed by provider andin accordance withcCAREpolicies and procedures.
Requestsinsurance authorizations and schedule appointments for STAT procedures including but not limited to blood transfusion paracentesisthoracentesisand brain MRIs.
Documents receiptassistswith ensures completion of disability and other miscellaneous forms/ lettersin a timely manner.
Effectivelyassistswith E-Prescribing authorizing drug refills and physician and Physician Dispensing.
Triages phone calls and routes and relays informationin a timely mannerto staff and providersin a timely manner.
Daily review and processing of voicemails reminders and emails.
Qualifications
Medical Assistant diploma required
Current CPR/BLS
Fluent in Spanish highly preferred
Medical Assistant experience required
