Job Summary
Maintains patient care environment and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety.
Participates as a team member of division/department.
Identifies evaluates and resolves potential safety problems within the designated area.
Has knowledge of infection control i.e. adequate hand washing.
Acts as preceptor and supports the development of other staff and healthcare students.
Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate.
Intake process: Height Weight BP Resp. Rate Pulse Pain Medication Review Order Supplies Maintain flow of patient / provider schedule Provide support to nursing staff. Maintain par level of supplies in exam rooms. Maintain Expiration Log of supplies and medications. Perform EKGs Participates as a team member of division/department. Accurately measures records and reports intake and output Monitors and records vital signs Maintain a clean and safe work place Maintain good working relationships with fellow workers nursing and medical staff and the general public
