Job Summary

This is a union eligible SUMMARYHealthRIGHT 360 a nonprofit organization and a family of programs is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations. Our mission is to tackle systemic barriers to healthcare and promote health equity for all. We offer a wide range of services including mental health care residential and outpatient substance use treatment and primary health services. Additionally we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. By integrating physical and behavioral health we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health fostering resilience and facilitating Integrated Care Center Clinic is a federally qualified health center that provides primary care behavioral health addiction treatment psychiatry dental care and more. We provide care to those most in need including those who are suffering from homelessness mental illness substance use mental illness and chronic medical conditions. We provide team-based care in an integrated care setting. We are looking for a mission driven service leader who works well in a team has experience with managing and supporting staff champions quality improvement leads change and is excited to Medical Assistant (MA) is a key member of the Clinic Care Team and as such performs clinical and administrative tasks consistent with HealthRIGHT 360 policies and protocols. Duties include preparing treatment rooms assisting physicians with examination materials instruments and equipment maintaining supply inventories and performing laboratory tests including phlebotomy and providing case management follow-up with patients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMedical Responsibilities: Assist clinicians in the examination process. Perform office tests including vision screening spirometry EKG rapid strep UA and urine pregnancy phlebotomy injections TB tests breathing Responsibilities: Perform intake including vital signs list chief complaints allergies immunization histories and complete chart forms as appropriate to patient patients in rooms and prepare them for prepare and stock examination Responsibilities:Active participation in integrated team-based care which may include receiving and returning telephone calls from patients and in scheduling patient and ensure quality assurance of basic clinic patient flow and ensure smooth efficient patient flow throughout patients clinic experience via patient centered care and playing an active role in the team dance which may include but is not limited to chart prep huddles red carpeting the patient 30 second report mid-way check in discharge of the perform other duties as Experience and CredentialsHigh school diploma or Assistant 2 years experience from a certified Medical Assistant Aid and CPR phlebotomy skills with certification of basic medical to work within a frequently changing project scope while maintaining overall direction and structured -motivated dependable creative and proactive approach to work; understands importance of working independently and within a team to communicate well at all levels of the to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining integrity and accuracy of to handle sensitive information in a confidential preferred.
