• Compensation: Starts at $18.05/hour based on experience education and internal equity.

• Schedule:Monday thru Friday 8-hour shifts

What Youll Do as a Medical Assistant

• Provide both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient medical office

• Assist with exams procedures vital signs and patient preparation under provider supervision

• Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record (EHR)

• Schedule appointments answer inquiries and support smooth clinic flow

• Educate patients about treatments medications and procedures

• Ensure a professional patient-centered environment that promotes safety and comfort

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

• Previous experience in healthcare or a clinical setting preferred

Required Licensure/Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (required at hire)

• RMA AAMA or CCMA certification required within one year of hire

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Strong multitasking and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment

• Basic understanding of medical terminology and EHR systems

Physical & Work Environment

Physical Demands

• Standing walking and sitting for extended periods

• Lifting/carrying medical supplies and equipment (up to 50 lbs occasionally)

• Frequent bending reaching and manual dexterity for procedures and equipment use

• Clear verbal communication with patients and team members

Working Conditions

• Indoor clinical environment with exposure to medical equipment and instruments

• Regular interaction with patients providers and support staff

• Adherence to safety infection control and regulatory protocols

• May require flexibility in scheduling including occasional evenings or weekends
