- Jefferson Radiology is seeking a patient-focusedMedical Assistantto join our growing team!
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Provide superior support and assistance to patients as they prepare for various Radiology exams including Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
- Will meet with patients to verify their histories and discuss protocols for their examinations and procedures
- Assistance with Interventional Radiology procedures
- Assistance with MRI and CT examinations
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Certified Medical Assistance LPN or EMT preferred
- CPR (BLS) required
- 2 years of prior medical office experience
- For Interventional Radiology procedures surgical office/hospital setting experience highly preferred
- For MRI and CT examinations must demonstrate an understanding of MRI and CT procedures
