About the Job

We are looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support day-to-day clinical and operational functions within a Health Center setting.

In this role youll assist providers with patient care perform clinical and administrative duties and help ensure a seamless patient experience from check-in through follow-up care.

The ideal candidate is adaptable team-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional patient service and high-quality care.

What Youll Do

• Greet and room patients while creating a positive patient experience

• Measure and document vital signs patient history and clinical information

• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits

• Perform phlebotomy and collect blood and urine samples

• Support front office and administrative clinic functions as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols and workflows

• Deliver concierge-level customer service and compassionate patient care

• Exercise sound clinical judgment within scope of role

What Youll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Current BLS Certification required

• One of the following qualifications:

  • Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program with diploma/certificate and at least 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience

  • Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Assistant experience obtained through on-the-job training

  • Relevant military medic experience

• Strong patient care communication and customer service skills

• Phlebotomy experience preferred

• One year of recent experience in a medical setting with Occupational training is strongly preferred

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced patient-centered clinical environment
