Job Title: Part-Time Medical Assistant

Compensation:Starting at $21.00/hr

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Part-Time

Schedule: 20 - 30 hours per week *Once trained will also be required to work one Saturday per month and 1-2 evenings a week*

Job Summary:Our Client in Moorestown NJ is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their pediatric team. This is a part-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity starting at $21.00 per hour based on experience. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic detail-oriented and passionate about providing exceptional care to children and their families. This role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities to support the daily operations of a busy pediatric practice.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Greet pediatric patients and their families with warmth professionalism and compassion.
• Clinical Support: Obtain and document vital signs height weight and patient medical history.
• Immunizations: Administer vaccines and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information within the EMR system.
• Exam Room Preparation: Prepare treatment and exam rooms ensuring cleanliness organization and readiness for patient visits.
• Appointment Coordination: Schedule patient appointments manage follow-ups and assist with patient communication.
• Front Office Support: Answer incoming phone calls and provide administrative support to the front desk team.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous Medical Assistant experience required.
• Pediatric Background: Previous pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
• Technology Skills: Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with children and families.
• Reliability: Strong attention to detail organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
