Medical Assistant Full TimeLocation: 3101 Hwy 71 East Suite 101 Bastrop TX 78602
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00am5:00pm Rotating Saturdays: 9:00am12:00pm (approximately once every 46 weeks)
Compensation: $20$22/hr
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience Clinical Skills: EKG & injection experience preferred
Setting: Primary Care 10 providers 1520 patients per day

About the Role
We are seeking a Back Office Medical Assistant to support our busy primary care clinic. You will work closely with providers prepare patients for visits perform clinical tasks and help maintain smooth daily operations.
How will you make an impact & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support
Prepare patients for exams procedures and office visits
Obtain vital signs and perform inoffice procedures (EKG spirometry peak flow bone density nebulizer treatments)
Administer injections and immunizations
Monitor patients after vaccinations or injections
Obtain complete patient histories (medical surgical social)
Record medications and allergies accurately
Assist physicians PAs and NPs with exams and procedures
Relay inoffice lab test results
Patient Communication
Handle incoming calls from patients pharmacies radiology centers labs and insurance companies
Notify patients of test results and provide followup instructions
Review and process refill requests according to provider protocols
Clinic Operations
Clean and sanitize exam and procedure rooms
Clean wrap and sterilize instruments
Support smooth patient flow across a busy clinic with 10 providers
Maintain a professional courteous and patientfocused environment
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience
Experience with EKGs and injections
Dependable polite and professional
Excellent customer service skills
Accurate thorough and detailoriented
Able to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fastpaced environment
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Passionate about providing the best care to patients
Preferred Qualifications
Athena EMR experience
Primary care experience

Compensation Range:
$20.00to
$30.00The anticipated base salary range represents the Companys good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience skills qualifications geographic location internal equity and business needs.
