POSITION: Certified Medical Assistant

RESPONSIBLE TO: LVN-Charge

Job Type: Full-time (40-hours per week) Day Shift

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of the Clinic Coordinator performs a variety of tasks related to back-office procedures.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

direct patient care under established Protocols Procedures and Standards by functioning in the following areas:

a. Vital signs

b. Taking medical histories

c. Patient advocacy

d. Patient case management

2. Ensures exam rooms are stocked clean and prepared.

3. Initiates patient flow manages patient flow concerns.

4. General problem solving.

5. Patient follow-up.

6. Community outreach as assigned.

7. Functions as member of mobile health team as assigned.

8. Other tasks commensurate with level of skill development HCT UA PPD venipuncture microscopy health education immunizations and therapeutic injections.

for medical chart review as assigned by the Nurse.

Must have reliable transportation. This position will work on both clinic sites. Certified Medical Assistant

2-5 Years of experience Preferred

Bilingual Spanish and English Preferred
