What you will be doing:- Provide professional support administering Office of Rate Review (ORR) programs rate-setting processes reporting and implementing federal rule changes
- Primary contact for unit cross-functional intake work including reviewing and analyzing report submissions for compliance
- Facilitate internal and external partner and stakeholder engagement
- Identify problem issues; develop methods for addressing problems; develop and implement solutions
- Coordinate units regulatory processes including organizing drafting and submitting materials
The Office of Rate Review (ORR) within the Commissioners Office of the Alaska State Health Department is a 17-person team that helps Alaskans access quality health care by setting fair Medicaid rates supporting health programs across Alaska and encouraging smart & fair development of health care services & facilities

The working environment you can expect:
This position is in the Frontier Building in midtown Anchorage a secure office space with free covered parking. While we offer a professional office environment with daily collaboration among dedicated colleagues we also offer a hybrid work schedule (minimum of one day in the office - ORR Team is in the office on Wednesdays) along with the option of Alternate Work Week (AWW) agreements
