In this role you will safeguard Medicaid program integrity manage regulatory issues and influence policy outcomes while supporting the Hubs mission to act as the P&Ls control tower systematically identifying and addressing risks gaps and requirements across functions.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for key relationships with state and federal regulators other health plans and key stakeholders ensuring strategic alignment and trusted partnerships.
- Manage regulatory and contractual requirements in partnership with Growth Operations and Compliance ensuring timely resolution and ongoing compliance.
- Manages resolution of issues received from both internal and external entities including but not limited to the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Ombudsperson and Account Manager leveraging data-driven analysis to inform decisions and corrective actions.
- Embeds guidance into operational processes and member communications to ensure compliance with complex regulatory requirements across all initiatives.
- Develops and delivers communications of product plans regulatory updates program changes trends market research emerging issues and best practices to internal and external audiences.
- Represents Blue Plus on DHS materials workgroups (Medicaid and D-SNP); oversees DHS template updates and submissions; serves as the Medicaid/Integrated product Subject Matter Expert (SME) for compliance review prior to DHS submission; and acts as the internal SME for materials requirements
- Performs additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the role as assigned.
- 3 years of related Medicaid professional experience.
- Bachelors degree; in lieu of a degree an additional two years of relevant experience beyond the qualifications listed above may be accepted.
- Knowledge of government healthcare programs regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of health plan operations products and business practices.
- Experience improving processes workflows or operational performance.
- Ability to tailor communication to varied audiences actively listen to uncover requirements and ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
- Ability to analyze information identify patterns and root causes and collaborate with partners to implement practical solutions.
- Ability to effectively organize work balance competing priorities and manage time across multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
Role designation definition:
- Teleworking is working full time remote.
- Hybrid is a minimum of 2 days onsite.
- Onsite is full-time onsite.

Our hybrid approach is designed to balance flexibility with meaningful in-person connection and collaboration. We come together in the office two days each week most teams designate at least one anchor day to ensure team interaction. These in-person moments foster relationships creativity and alignment. The rest of the week you are empowered to work remote.
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position including skills ability and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
