As a Medicaid Analyst Supervisor youll lead a team of professionals oversee daily operations and ensure quality timely and compliant assistance to Medicaid applicants and recipients. Six years of social services experience; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus three years of social services experience; OR
A bachelors degree plus three years of social services experience; OR
An advanced degree plus two years of social services experience.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.- Job Specification

- Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Supervises and provides guidance to Medicaid Analysts to ensure accurate timely and high-quality processing of applications renewals and beneficiary assistance.
- Monitors unit workflow case distribution productivity and quality to ensure established state regional and national goals are met.
- Ensures staff compliance with Medicaid policies procedures regulations and CMS requirements related to eligibility processing and case reviews.
- Conducts mandatory case reviews investigates discrepancies and complaints and takes corrective action to address errors and improve program compliance.
- Interviews applicants recipients and complainants regarding fair hearing rights case concerns and potential adjustments.
- Conducts staff evaluations and oversees employee onboarding off boarding leave management and staffing needs to maintain adequate coverage for beneficiaries.
- Prepares required statistical reports and responds to Privacy Act and Freedom of Information Act requests while identifying and reporting potential fraud waste or abuse.
