Mechatronics & Robotics Technician

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts motors photo-eyes relays and more.

• Maintain positive working relationships across all Operations facilities.

• Track and manage department inventory.

• Lift up to 49 lbs and stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts including weekends nights and holidays.

• 2 years of experience repairing material handling equipment.

• 2 years of experience performing predictive and preventative maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field from a vocational school or college.

• 2 years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.

• 1 year of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.

• 1 year of knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.

• Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and applicable safety requirements.

• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting robotic or electromechanical equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
