Mechanical Parts Specialist

We are working with an established industrial company seeking a 2nd Shift Parts & Customer Service Specialist to join its team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers but also likes being hands-on. Youll help customers identify what they need recommend the right products or components and then assemble or prepare those products for the customer.

Experience working in an auto parts store industrial supply company hardware environment equipment dealer or similar setting could translate very well into this position.

• Assist customers with identifying the correct parts and products for their needs
  

• Ask questions and understand customer requirements before recommending solutions
  

• Provide strong knowledgeable customer service
  

• Locate parts and materials within inventory
  

• Measure cut assemble and prepare products based on customer specifications
  

• Select the appropriate fittings clamps connectors and related hardware
  

• Complete customer orders accurately and efficiently
  

• Maintain organized inventory and work areas
  

• Learn the companys product lines and become a trusted resource for customers
  

• Work closely with other team members to make sure customers receive the right solution
  

• Strong customer service skills
  

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with basic tools
  

• Ability to measure accurately and follow specifications
  

• Someone who enjoys solving problems and figuring out how things work
  

• Previous parts counter sales automotive industrial supply hardware maintenance manufacturing or mechanical experience is helpful
  

• Ability to learn different parts fittings sizes and product applications
  

• Comfortable working independently and staying productive during 2nd shift
  

Previous experience with hoses fittings hydraulics or industrial components is a plus but not required. We are open to someone with the right mechanical aptitude and customer service background who is willing to learn.

This is a hands-on customer service role for someone who would rather solve a customers problem than simply stand behind a counter.
