The Mechanical Maintenance Technicianis responsible fortroubleshooting repairing andmaintainingmechanical systems and production equipment to ensure safe reliable and efficient operations. This role supports daily manufacturing activities by performing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance minimizing downtime and improving equipment performance.
What youll do:
- Troubleshoot and repair issues on machine tools and production equipment
- Perform mechanical maintenance on production machinery including hydraulics pneumatics and mechanical components
- Execute preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime
- Partner with the technical team to ensure safe reliable operations
- Support continuous improvement and equipment optimization initiatives
What youll have:
- Technical training or apprenticeship inMechanical Maintenance IndustrialMaintenanceor relatedfields
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment (machine tools preferred)
- Strong technical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with CNC controls (Fanuc preferred)
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous learning
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed
Additional Information:
- Location: Waukesha WI
- Work Schedule: Onsite Monday through Friday
- Travel: This role will require an initial trip of approximately 3-5 months to Jenbach Austria for training and to establish relationships with the peers.
