Mechanical/Reliability Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain exceptional attendance and reliability by reporting to work on time and as scheduled.
  • Promote IKO safety goals and maintain a safe work environment through effective safety housekeeping and corrective action practices.
  • Develop detailed mechanical designs BOMs engineering drawings product specifications and manufacturing requirements.
  • Use CAD software to create 3D models prototypes and perform form fit and function analysis.
  • Analyze and evaluate designs for functionality structural integrity safety industry standards regulations and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with production electrical engineering HSE and project teams to integrate mechanical and electrical systems and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop innovative engineering solutions to address equipment process and operational challenges.
  • Develop maintenance schedules and procedures while supporting preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Provide mechanical maintenance support through troubleshooting equipment repairs training and resolution of breakdowns.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation and reports and communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written verbal and presentation) with the ability to effectively work with others in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to handle complex assignments with a proactive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in utilizing statistics to solve problems and monitor processes.
  • Ability to develop and manage a budgetary control process for areas of responsibility.
  • Analytical data-driven problem solving and action planning skills.
  • Ability to make independent and well thought out decisions.
  • Organized self-starter results oriented unique problem solver.
  • Knowledge of industry standards regulations and safety protocols
  • Proficiency in CAD software 3D modeling engineering analysis tools and simulation software.
