Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration providing climate-control solutions to customers in more than 70 countries. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton Georgia produce evaporators condensers compressor racks and other top-quality refrigeration products for their five market-leading brands: Bohn Larkin Climate Control Chandler and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets convenience stores restaurants warehouses and distribution centers in addition to other applications such as data centers pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Location: Tifton GA-100% Onsite

This Mechanical Engineer III designs fabricates modifies and evaluates complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components sub-systems and systems. The person in this position may also provide work leadership for lower level employees.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare design specifications analyses and recommendations for presentation and approval.
• Technical responsibility for planning organizing and conducting technical projects or phases of projects involving design and development.
• Coordinate the efforts of drafters/designers engineering technicians and machine shop personnel as required by assigned projects.
• Conduct independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material.

• Requires a bachelors degree in engineering.
• At least 5 years related experience is preferred.
• Understanding of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
• Experience with analytical and CAD software.
• Requires knowledge of design techniques tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans blueprints drawings and models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $96800 - $127000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Companys applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
