Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $52/hr on W2

Seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to support the development of consumable fluidic devices for next-generation single-molecule DNA sequencing technology. This hands-on role involves flowcell manufacturing process development device assembly component testing metrology and engineering support in a collaborative R&D environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support flowcell manufacturing assembly and process development for consumable fluidic devices.
  
• Assist with SolidWorks design activities and engineering documentation.
  
• Perform dimensional mechanical and surface metrology measurements data analysis and reporting.
  
• Conduct component testing quality inspections and sample preparation for external analysis.
  
• Manage component inventory shipping/receiving and laboratory support activities.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support project milestones.
  

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Materials Science Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  
• 02 years of industry experience; hands-on laboratory or engineering experience preferred.
  
• Proficiency with SolidWorks Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  
• Experience with microfluidics microfabrication materials characterization metrology or microscopy is a plus.
