Mechanical Engineer

Job responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) / Testing (DFT) / Assembly (DFA) and Full Turnkey solutions.
• Support the engineering team tasked with the commercialization and launch of designed products.
• Perform engineering design tasks.
• Create technical documentation such as drawings design instructions purchasing specifications O&M Manuals installation instructions work instructions and product catalogs.
• Conduct required testing verify product performance system integration and compliance with applicable standards.
• Partner with Production Quality and Purchasing staff to assure that products are manufacturable.
• Support the automation of design tasks.
• Provide guidance to drafters to support project goals.
• Review and check the work of others including drafters and engineers.
• Provide jobsite support.
• Collaborate with certification laboratories such as VDE as well as various international agencies. Provide laboratory testing support.

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the engineering field.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required up to 10%.
