A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and delivery of building systems projects across commercial institutional and government sectors.
This onsite opportunity offers $75000-$90000 plus relocation assistance and is ideal for engineers looking to expand their experience across HVAC systems utilities energy efficiency projects and complex facility infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Support all phases of mechanical engineering design from concept through construction
Prepare engineering calculations specifications and technical drawings
Design and layout HVAC utility and mechanical systems
Conduct code compliance reviews and engineering analyses
Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams
Participate in client meetings and project planning discussions
Provide construction-phase engineering support
Assist with bid packages and contractor support activities
Mentor and support junior technical staff as needed
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
2 years of mechanical engineering design experience
EIT certification or eligibility
Knowledge of building mechanical systems and applicable codes
Experience with Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD
U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
HVAC design experience
Utility infrastructure experience
Wastewater treatment project experience
Commercial institutional or government project experience
Compensation & Benefits:
