A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and delivery of building systems projects across commercial institutional and government sectors.

This onsite opportunity offers $75000-$90000 plus relocation assistance and is ideal for engineers looking to expand their experience across HVAC systems utilities energy efficiency projects and complex facility infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Support all phases of mechanical engineering design from concept through construction
• Prepare engineering calculations specifications and technical drawings
• Design and layout HVAC utility and mechanical systems
• Conduct code compliance reviews and engineering analyses
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams
• Participate in client meetings and project planning discussions
• Provide construction-phase engineering support
• Assist with bid packages and contractor support activities
• Mentor and support junior technical staff as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 2 years of mechanical engineering design experience
• EIT certification or eligibility
• Knowledge of building mechanical systems and applicable codes
• Experience with Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• HVAC design experience
• Utility infrastructure experience
• Wastewater treatment project experience
• Commercial institutional or government project experience
