Job Description

The Mechanical Drafter and PDM Administrator will work closely with other members of the Mechanical Engineering and design teams. They will create and enhance existing drawings as well as maintain the PDM library.

Role Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain existing PDM system
  • Generate technical drawings using SolidWorks or related CAD software
  • Manage PDM and CAD licensing and upgrades
  • Configuration control and documentation
  • Execute engineering change process and management

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or relevant work experience
  • 3 years experience using CAD programs
  • Track record of success in generating technical drawings on time and in scope
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams
  • Experience in reviewing technical drawings and designs

Bonus Points

  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Prior experience with aerospace or high altitude balloons
  • Experience working in fast paced start up environment
