Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Designer/Drafter is to create and modify drawings models parts and assemblies using Creo software. This role supports Service Engineerings Design Services group and requires a high level of technical proficiency and attention to detail.
Responsible for all aspects of design and drafting for components assemblies and packaging solutions within the Creo addition the individual will utilize the Windchill Data Management System to manage track promote and report on the progress of assignments to departmental accordance with Otis policy all new drawings must be completed using Creo and managed within the Windchill system.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and revise detailed drawings models and assemblies using Creo
Support design activities for components assemblies and packaging solutions
Utilize Windchill to manage document control and workflow processes
Track update and communicate project status to management
Ensure all work complies with company standards and policies
Skills:
Strong creativity analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficient in interpreting and producing technical drawings
Basic knowledge of machines tools and their applications
Understanding of engineering principles and their practical application
8-10 years of relevant experience required
