Job Description
I have a client in the Charlottesville VA area seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support industrial engineering projects for manufacturing and processing facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of field work mechanical design and project engineering.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing mechanical equipment and systems for industrial environments/Projects and be comfortable working directly with clients to develop practical engineering solutions.
This is a Temp to possible Permanent position that is required to be fully on site.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial mechanical design manufacturing or consulting engineering environments
- Design and engineer mechanical systems equipment piping skids supports and other industrial mechanical components
- Develop detailed mechanical drawings and fabrication packages using AutoCAD
- Read interpret and develop P&IDs equipment layouts and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality accuracy and project schedules.
