Job Summary
Mechanical Designer
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare engineering drawings for construction and fabrication work including detailed drawings as-builts schematics and flow diagrams P&IDsand piping isometric drawings
Providea full range of drawing production work including problem analysis design layout and calculations
Work with other disciplines on the projectProvide advancedCADWorxdrafting and design services by preparing andmaintainingmechanical and piping engineering drawings for use in fabrication and construction
PrepareCADWorx3D designs from general instruction and/or preliminary sketches diagrams or schematics
Travel to field to make field sketches take dimensions and notes for drawing accuracy and climb ladders stairs and pipe racks at these locations
Prepare Line Lists Manual Valve Lists Drawings Lists
Qualifications & Skills for Success:
Minimum of 3years ofexperience working drafting anddesign in petrochemical industry(preferred)
Knowledgeable of various petrochemical standards and codes: ANSI ASME PFI etc.#INDG
