About the Role


We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer who thrives on owning projects from concept through this role you will design and customize pressure-containing equipment and mechanical systems for a range of industrial applications.



This is a hands-on engineering position where your designs are not just theoreticalyoull see them built tested and used in real-world environments.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and modify pressure-containing equipment and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks
  • Interpret customer specifications datasheets and industry requirements to develop compliant design solutions
  • Perform engineering calculations (pressure design stress analysis tolerances material selection)
  • Ensure designs meet applicable codes and standards (e.g.ASME PED IECEx CRN)
  • Create and release detailed drawings models routers andBills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Support product testing certification and technical documentation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing sales and quality teams
  • Applydesign for manufacturability (DFM) principles to improve production efficiency
  • Troubleshoot design issues and contribute to continuous product improvement


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
  • Strong proficiency inSolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
  • Familiar with ASME codes and pressure-containing equipment design
  • Understanding of machining fabrication and assembly processes
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive ownership mindset

Preferred Qualifications


  • 3 years of mechanical design experience inoil & gas energy or industrial manufacturing
  • Experience with:
    • Valves regulators or pressure control equipment
    • Instrumentation or electrical components
    • Engineering calculations
    • Validating designs
  • Familiarity with certification standards (PED CRN IECEx)
