In this role you will be working as a Mechanical Engineer for a client that works in the custom machinery industry. This position will be responsible for design and engineering support for manufacturing of heavy equipment and machinery.

This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Pay; $80000-$90000/Yr.

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience with mechanical design - understanding of large equipment custom machinery etc..
• Solidworks experience
• Analysis experience with Solidworks Simulation is preferred
• Experience doing design and analysis on new mechanical systems and subsystems
• Conduct feasibility studies to determine functionality and reliability
• Capital equipment experience - able to do design of heavy structures including tooling material selection and fabrication
• Evaluate and recommend design changes when needed
• Maintain documentation throughout project phases
• Knowledge of military standards
