Mechanic

SAK Construction has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Rocklin CA.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions as they arise
• Perform preventative maintenance following operations manuals as well as electrical and hydraulic diagrams/ refrigeration units/ CCTV equipment/ Heat-Exchanger equipment
• Remove and replace defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance when used
• Routine maintenance such as oil changes tire rotation and placement etc.
• Perform related duties as requested in a team environment
• BIT and DOT inspections

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a mechanic diesel experience preferred
• Welding/fabrication experience
• CDL preferred
• Experience with BIT and DOT inspections
• Ability to work with hands lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for long periods of time often doing repetitive motions.
