Mechanic

Hiring now for a Mechanic to assist a local family-owned business specializing in the sale of new and used quality trailers. The Mechanic will be primarily responsible for moving organizing and assembling components on dump trailers flatbeds cargo gooseneck and utility trailers that arrive on a consistent schedule. Eligible candidates should also be interested in assisting with trailer sales as needed.

Duties:

• Assemble and repair trailers as needed.
• Bolt tires fenders and jacks on trailers.
• Wash trailers as required.
• Deliver trailers within a short distance and move inventory throughout the lot.
• Prep purchased trailers for customers and assist with hookups.
• Minor trailer repairs.
• Answer customer inquiries and execute sales.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic mechanic skills and tool knowledge are required
• Welding knowledge is preferred but not required.
• A valid Montana State drivers license is required.
• Prior sales experience is a plus.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• A drug screen and background check is required upon offer of employment.

Job Type: Monday Friday 10 am 5 pm with an occasional 9 am start time to assist with trailer delivery

Wage:$25/hr.
