What You Will Do
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues across stamping forming welding and assembly equipment
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutionsnot just quick fixes
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to stay ahead of breakdowns
- Interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals with confidence
- Partner with engineering and production teams to optimize machine performance
- Support installation and commissioning of new or upgraded equipment
- Champion safety standards including LOTO and machine guarding
- Mentor and guide junior mechanics sharing your expertise and raising the bar
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required (technical training or degree preferred)
- 7 years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing (metal stamping or automotive preferred)
- Strong knowledge of presses dies hydraulics pneumatics and conveyors
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and solve complex mechanical challenges
- Experience with ISO standards (IATF/VDA exposure is a plus)
- Familiarity with welding fabrication and machining (preferred)
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
