Job Summary
Employee will be responsible forinspecting diagnosing repairing and maintaining large machines and heavy-duty equipment focusing on mechanical hydraulic and electrical also perform routine maintenance using hand and power tools and specialized equipment that will be worked on are as follows but not limited to:asphalt pavers loaders graders excavators skid steers water trucks haul trucks and other equipment used in the road construction.
Job Responsibilities:
heavy equipment for malfunctions using diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure the continued and safe operation of all mechanical gasoline and diesel-powered equipment on job sites.
or replaces defective parts components or systems. Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects faults and malfunctions using engine diagnostic calibrated devices.
routine maintenance including cleaning lubricating and servicing equipment. Examine parts for damage excessive wear and malfunctions using micrometers gauges volt meters and calibrated devices. Clean lubricate and perform other routine and preventative maintenance on equipment vehicles tools and assets.
compliance with safety standards and regulations. Test mechanical products and equipment after repairs or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers specifications.

- Valid Driver License Class C but CDL Class A or B is preferred.
- Attention To Detail: Being able to pay attention to details of heavy equipment repair is necessary.
- Analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills in addition to root cause analysis understanding.
- Ability to stand stoop crouch crawl and lift 50 to 75 lbs.
- Read understand and utilize operating & service manuals.
- Must be able to work in extreme heat outside.
