This role involves using engineering drawings performing various composite repairs and handling essential repair materials. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of composite materials and processesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Repair replace and rebuild composite partsUtilize OEM and Engineering drawings to modify composite partsAccomplish wet lay-up repairsAccomplish elevated temperature repairsUnderstand quote processKnows all standard chemicals epoxies sealants resins pre-pregs composite repair materials and their associated MSDSEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum two years of related commercial/military aircraft maintenance or Airframe and Powerplant License EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee will also be required to stand walk stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to handle and climb ladders and aircraft base pay range for this position is $23.50 - $37.00 hourly not including bonuses or benefits. Your pay will be based on your experience skills and education as well as internal equity to ensure fairness across the team. Candidates closer to the lower end of the range are typically building their expertise while those at the higher end bring significant experience and specialized knowledge.
