Job Summary

SUMMARY
The Measurement Analyst reports directly to the MeasurementDirector andis responsible for daily monitoring evaluating and reporting measurement data in support of the Measurement function of the Company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the Company Subject Matter Expert (SME) for back-office Gas and Liquids Measurement calculations.
- Assist the Director Measurement with component balancing from wellhead to sales.
- Routinely audit the Measurement System of Record to ensure compliance with contracts industry standards and Company procedures.
- Establish and maintain FlowCal validation rules and exception guidelines.
- Maintain the Companys FlowCal system environment including software updates version upgrades troubleshooting and vendor support.
- Identify opportunities to automate or optimize system import processes to reduce manual data entry.
- Manage CFX data movement between Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) devices and the FlowCal environment while ensuring compliance with API Chapter 21 standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments to document data flows and resolve data collection or communication issues.
- Review analyze edit and validate daily and hourly gas and liquid measurement data for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly measurement reports including:
- Production balances
- Volume statements
- Gas and liquid compositional reports
- Measurement exception reports
- Monitor workflow for meter calibrations gas sampling liquid sampling and related measurement activities.
- Review calibration reports and laboratory analysis results identifying discrepancies or operational concerns.
- Audit electronic flow measurement (EFM) gas quality charts and volume calculations for completeness and accuracy.
- Review SCADA flow data to identify measurement anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits related to measurement activities.
- Assist with development of measurement procedures and best practices.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of:
- Natural Gas and Liquid Measurement principles and industry standards.
- AGA API ASTM and GPA measurement standards.
- Measurement agreements tariffs and gas purchase contracts.
- Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) systems.
- FlowCal measurement software.
- Natural gas operations and midstream measurement practices.
- Measurement balancing and allocation methodologies.
- SCADA systems and measurement communications.
- Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel.
Ability to:
- Analyze large volumes of measurement data and identify discrepancies.
- Interpret contracts measurement standards and operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with field personnel producers management and third-party customers.
- Prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Develop process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience utilizing the FlowCal Measurement System with emphasis on liquid measurement.
- Strong working knowledge of natural gas and liquid measurement.
- Experience working with FlowCal validations balancing allocations and measurement reporting.
- Strong understanding of AGA API ASTM and GPA standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with TESTiT Application.
- Experience with AutoSOL ACM or similar polling services.
- Experience supporting SCADA measurement systems.
- Familiarity with SQL automation tools or data integration processes.
- Experience with electronic flow measurement (EFM) communications.
- Midstream natural gas industry experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Position is based in the Dallas Corporate Office.
- Hybrid work schedule available; minimum of three (3) days per week in the office.
- Approximately 10% travel may be required.
- Primarily office-based with occasional visits to field measurement facilities.
