Type: Permanent Salary: $85280 $99840 annually
Sign-On Bonus: $5000 (2-year commitment)

Are you a skilled RN with MDS expertise looking to lead clinical documentation and support exceptional resident care Samaritan Summit Village is seeking a dedicated MDS Manager to join our dynamic long-term care team and ensure compliance accuracy and optimal resident outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely MDS assessments in compliance with state federal Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.

• Serve as the facility expert on MDS/RUGS providing education to staff and ensuring proper documentation for clinical regulatory and financial needs.

• Conduct audits and quality reviews to identify risk areas and optimize reimbursement.

• Act as a liaison between medical providers residents families and payers.

• Coordinate resident care conferences to facilitate appropriate services and levels of care.

• Participate in government surveys and audits ensuring compliance and readiness.

• Active NYS RN license required (RNAC certification preferred).

• Previous long-term care/geriatric experience is required.

• Strong knowledge of MDS PPS Medicare/Medicaid and LTC regulations.

• Experience in quality assurance documentation review and appeals.

• Confident in planning organization and interdisciplinary communication.
